"Summer Leather"

This still life oil painting was fun in that all the items in the painting have meaning for me. The  bat and baseball mit on the right are mine from high school, and yes, I am a lefty. The mit on the left is my daughter's mit when she was younger and played on a championship  team. The jersey is my son's from the current baseball season. The hat is an official one from the 1993 World Series where the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Philadelphia Phillies. The baseballs are well worn from use and abuse, and the old glovolium can still has some oil in it.
